Had problem with a refrigerator. AHS sent out repair company to diagnose. Ordered the thermostat and replaced it a few days later.

My pool salt cell was replaced and is working

American Home Shield is an unbelievably great reliable and honest company to deal with… my experiences have been very positive so far and i expect that to be true going forward into future as well I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone

American Home Shield is good, but the need to watch the companies the contract for the jobs. They sent out a company to replace a hot water tank that said a lot of extra work was needed, that wasn’t, and that was going to have to be paid out of pocket. This plumbing company is feeding off of people that have no idea. Do not let “Dockside Plumbing “ rip you off.

I had an issue with the water pipes in my bathroom. I called AHS, they contacted a local plumber, I received a call from then with an hour. They couldn’t come that day but cane first thingvthe next morning. He checked everything out, ended up they pipes needed replaced & secured in the crawl space. He had to come back with another tech, as it was a 2 man job. They came first thing again, & it was all repaired in less than 2 hours. I only paid the automatic service chsrge of $125.00, & the repairs were over $600.00. I have & would highly recommend AHS for everyone to have this home warranty.

We only used it a few times after buying our mobile home. I’d say it was a wash in terms of return on the policy cost. It took several visits to get the garage door right. We had one service call for the hvac. Over all our service wasn’t bad at all. We didn’t renew after the first year because we have brand new appliances, HVAC and water heaters now.

New washer is awesome thanks goodness for this insurance! Got so many repairs done so quickly

Serviceman diagnosed the problem and had my ceiling fan running properly in less than 30 minutes. Scheduling was prompt.

I have been a customer of American Home Shield for 25 years, with the exception of a brief lapse due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I have been very pleased with my service and how American Home Shield has handled my repairs/replacements. Very satisfied. I highly recommend it to anyone who is either purchasing a house, or is on a fixed income, and cannot tolerate high unexpected expenses. My policy gives me the piece of mind that I will be able to handle, financially, any unexpected problems that might arise in the operation of my home. And, it’s a “one call, that’s all” process in finding a contractor/repairman to handle the job, I.e., they (American Home Shield) finds them and puts you in contact to schedule a visit. They’ve, AHS, has a five-star rating with me and, that is NOT an easy task to accomplish.
