HVAC Tune-Ups

As the seasons change, it's important to ensure your heating and cooling systems are working properly. We recommend getting a pre-season tune-up twice a year — once in spring to prepare your A/C system for summer, and again in fall to make sure your heating system is ready for winter. Keeping your HVAC system in top condition can help prevent breakdowns and possibly prolong its life. Tune-ups are available for just $100 per unit with our ShieldSilver, ShieldGold plans. One free tune-up per contract term is included in the ShieldPlatinum plan.

HVAC Tune-up services are provided by Frontdoor® Pro.

As the seasons change, it’s important to ensure that your A/C and heating systems are working properly, which is why we recommend getting a professional tune-up twice a year – once in the spring to prepare for warm, summer days ahead and then again in the fall to ensure that your heater is ready for the winter. Our spring and fall HVAC Tune-ups are discounted at $100 per unit with the ShieldSilver and ShieldGold plans. If you have our ShieldPlatinum plan, you receive one free tune-up per contract term as well as unlimited A/C refrigerant, which is otherwise $10/pound.

No, you will simply pay $100 per unit (plus sales tax where applicable). Should a covered issue be found that requires repair, you will be charged your Service Fee for that separate service request and subject to the limitations and exclusions under your American Home Shield® home warranty.

No problem. You'll simply pay $100 for each unit (plus sales tax where applicable) with the ShieldSilver™ and ShieldGold™ plans.
