Whether you've just moved into a new home, or simply misplaced a housekey or two over the years, you'll want to consider rekeying your home. Our Rekey Service makes it easy. Simply book an appointment online and a locksmith will rekey up to six keyholes with four identical keys for a fee. Rekey is included in our ShieldSilver™, ShieldGold™ and ShieldPlatinum™ plans. A separate fee applies to each unit on a covered multi-unit property.
Covered
- Includes rekeying up to six keyholes; four identical keys
- Previously installed and properly functioning non-electronic door knobs and/or deadbolts
- Hinged doors accessing the structural walls of your covered residential property
Not Covered
- Replacement of deadbolts, knobs, or associated hardware
- Garage door openers
- Broken or damaged locks
- Padlocks
- Skeleton locks and keys (windows, file cabinets, safes, desks, mailbox locks)

I rented a motel room for the night and as I was getting ready to leave, the contractor called and said he could be there that night if I still wanted him to!!! I was soooo happy. Great service for homeowners! If you have a ton of cash ready for any home system that may fail at any moment then you are good. If you are like the other 90% of homeowners who don't, then do yourself a favor and protect your investment with an AHS home warranty. Seriously, a new HVAC in California costs over $4K. I paid $100. A new stove last year was $400, but I paid $75. It's in my budget and I don't think twice. AHS always takes great care of me.

I used AHS for the first time and what an easy process. I booked a service appointment online, paid the $100 service fee, and the repairman fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Our "trusted" AC tune up guys told us our unit was leaking refrigerant and needed a new coil unit.
