Ductwork warranty

Ductwork Warranty Coverage

No matter the air temperature outside, the ductwork in your home is responsible for distributing air at a comfortable temperature inside. And while your ductwork may not have as many moving parts as other systems, problems can still arise. That's why we offer coverage to help take care of any breakdowns as quickly and easily as possible. Now when you discover a covered problem, you can simply call American Home Shield.

Ductwork is covered in our ShieldSilver, ShieldGold and ShieldPlatinum plans along with other Home Systems and Appliances

*American Home Shield will cover up to $1,000 should the Pro need to cut through concrete to access any system components. Geothermal systems also have a coverage limit of $1,500.

HVAC system ductwork can last for 20 years or more. However, all homes are different, so the life expectancy of ductwork will vary between homes.

Our standard home warranty contract term is 1 year and can be renewed upon expiration. There is a 30-day waiting period before you can make service requests when you purchase a new home warranty plan.

If we can’t fix it, we’ll replace it and cover the cost to remove the defective item(s), subject to your plan’s limitations and exclusions.

Once your coverage begins (30 days after you purchase your new home warranty plan) you can request service 24/7 online or call 1-888-691-2854 during standard business hours to request service.

Our best plan is the one that’s right for you! The Shield Silver™ plan is for homeowners who want to cover the must-haves like your heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Shield Gold™ plan is perfect for anyone who wants to live life with less interruptions, especially in the laundry room and kitchen, with coverage for the main systems and appliances you use every day. And with the Shield Platinum™ plan, you get coverage for just about everything: key components of 23 major home systems and appliances, plus premium features like Roof Leak Repair Coverage, double the coverage for appliances, and a free HVAC Tune-up. No two homes are the same, and that’s why we have options – so you can find the plan that fits your needs.
